The Convulsing Couple
There was a lady married to a man, one only cared about beauty and the other regretted marrying her. Each day they tormented each other. One night many years ago they saw a light in the woods, walking towards it there was a tree with an X written on it with black ink. What happened next can not be described by words, legend has it they fused together with an entity not of this world. Sucked together they became one, in the day if you meet this being the man will give you advice. But at night the woman crawls out and needs validation. Once a traveler meets this side of the convulsing couple the woman will take away the things she sees beautiful off of you. Lips, hair and eyes nothing is sacred and you have no choice but to give. This being terrorized the locals in the mountains where it was created for many years. Until the day the people were saved by an entity not of this universe, who trapped the monstrosity into the picture frame.
Some still worship the painting in the local town that the creature originated from, giving it gifts and praying for the couple's peace in the afterlife. It is said that if you go too close to examine the picture frame at night you might end up without a nose, or maybe an eye.
